Starting December 1st, 2008 I took one picture every day and posted it here (and on Picasa).

my pin-hole shot… i'm actually a bit disappointed with this…. i've done some pin-hole photography in years gone by and the image quality was much much better. i assume this has to do with the fact that my other pin-hole camera was much bigger with a larger distance between the light-sensitive material and aperture… what this picture does show very nicely is all the crap on my ccd :-(

here's my entry for the nano-challenge. using two 500W light bulbs i was able to bring the shutter speed down to 1/2000. I dropped a handful of water on a very hot hot-plate. prudence dictated that i use a long lens making focussing difficult.

this is an imprint of sorts… a paper towel on a plate was used to absorb the excess oil of some deep fried greek dish that i can't spell or pronounce. after removing the soaked paper towel the oil on the plate had assumed the pattern in the paper towel. i thought it was neat…

another day of magnificent weather. drove up to the landschaftspark duisburg nord to take some pictures of the defunct blast furnace that was used to produce iron only a few years ago. the thing is over 60m high. went up to the very top. yikes.
